Truthwalkers

Godly Play at St Peters

Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method serves children through early, middle and late childhood and beyond.

Truthwalkers meets at 9:15 am on Sundays in Bender Hall

Family Service

Family Service is held on the last Sunday’s 10:30am service of each month. All families are welcome—large and small, families of birth and of choice. Not all families include children, but some do, and making worship friendly and accessible for all ages is part of what we’re called
to do as members of Christ’s church. The Family Service is an all-ages Episcopal worship that centers children and youth in a more obvious way. It’s an opportunity to share, to learn, and to grow together as God’s family through all generations. Join us!

YOUTH GROUP UPDATE

SPY (St. Peter’s Youth), is for youth 6th grade and up. This group is in its formative state with hopes of partnering with other youth groups while we grow. There will be at least one planned event, alternating between a fun activity and an outreach project, each month this year. The youth will be encouraged to help plan these events.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Youth who are in 8th grade and up are invited to become trained as assistants for either the nursery or TruthWalkers class. For more details contact Cindy Gutowski (cindygutowski@gmail.com).

Additional adventures, including summer camp, outings, & service projects are being planned throughout the year. Please keep our youth and their adult chaperones in your prayers as they grow & develop.
